Jump Pilot Applicaton

Thank you for your interest in flying jumpers for Cloud Chasers Skydiving. Please fill out the application below to be considered for the next available position. Whether we have an immediate position or not, we are always accepting applications. Things change and quickly.

Requirements:
• Commercial Single Engine Land. This application assumes you have this, if not and you are that far ahead of things, kudo’s to you. Please put a note in the additional information field with the date you expect to have your commercial.
• High Performance Endorsement. If you do not have this, put a zero in the time flown and a note to your plans to fix that. We can normally get this done at the beginning of your training if you are hired so feel free to request that as well.
• Constant Speed Prop Time OR a Complex Endorsement. Either way I prefer 20+ hrs behind the CS Prop. A Complex will do with less than 20 hrs but is not required for the aircraft.
• An Instrument Rating is NOT required but HIGHLY preferred. Skydiving is a VFR operation but we still like to be prepared. Also, flying an efficient climb to altitude requires constant attention to your numbers much like IFR training, so it helps.
• Weigh under 225 lbs, preferably under 200 and even smaller does give you an advantage here. This is not meant to discriminate (I am a large guy myself) but weight does affect our performance making this a part of your ability to meet our needs in this job position.
• A good attitude, stellar work ethic, and ready to be part of a team. This is last on the list but it is not least.


Notes:
• Most of the fields here are text fields. It is not required but you can put notes in those fields if you feel the need. For example, your Total time could be: “257 changing rapidly as I fly weekly”
• We try, and normally do hire locally. We ask for your zip code (or City, State) to this end. If you are more than a couple hours drive from us and that is going to change, by all means note that in the Zip Code field. If you are looking to relocate, well put that too and I will be glad to have your information just in case but I do prioritize local first just to be honest.
• If you have jump pilot experience or specific training in skydiving, please put that in the additional information. Other training that is not listed and not skydiving specific is honestly not necessary to be included. Fell free to upload your resume if you want me to have your tail wheel endorsement, cross country time, etc.
• File uploads are not necessary at this time. Resumes are always a plus. The other listed documents are required before hiring but not necessary for consideration. Feel free to include them if you have them easily available.
